Terms of Service

About These Terms

Awakened Energy Detroit is an assumed business name of Milson Group, LLC. In these terms, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website and providing the services described here. These terms explain the conditions for using our website and booking with Michael.

The Nature of Reiki

Reiki is offered as a complementary spiritual and wellness practice for relaxation, personal exploration and education. Sessions, books and other materials are not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, prescription or massage therapy. Reiki is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional. Individual experiences vary; particular sensations, outcomes and health improvements are not guaranteed.

Your Appointment

Appointments are for adults aged 18 and over. The private Zoom Reiki appointment is 60 minutes and costs $125 USD, unless a different offer is clearly displayed before you pay. The appointment includes an opening conversation, time for Reiki and a closing check-in. Please choose a quiet, private space, remain fully clothed and attend from a safe location where you can give the session your attention. Do not participate while driving or operating equipment. You may ask questions, decline a suggestion or ask to stop at any time.

Booking and Payment

Please book at least 72 hours in advance. Check the date, time and time zone before completing your booking. A time is reserved only after you complete the booking and required payment and receive confirmation. Submitting your name and email alone does not reserve an appointment. Payments are processed through the checkout provider; please do not send payment-card details through the contact form.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

With at least 24 hours’ notice, you may reschedule or request a refund. A refund for a client cancellation is reduced by an administration deduction equal to the original payment-processing fee that the payment provider does not return. We will confirm the deduction and refund amount when handling your request. If you contact Michael during the final 24 hours before your appointment because you cannot attend, you may move that paid appointment once as a courtesy; this late-change option is a reschedule, not a cash refund. If you miss the replacement appointment, the payment is forfeited and no further courtesy reschedule is included. Missing an appointment without contacting Michael before it starts also forfeits the payment. Use the links in your confirmation email for changes at least 24 hours ahead. For a late change or refund request, use our contact form. If Michael needs to cancel, we will contact you to arrange a reschedule or refund.

Online Access and Technical Problems

You are responsible for having a suitable device, a working internet connection and access to Zoom. Please check the joining information before the appointment. If a technical problem prevents us from meeting, contact Michael promptly so that we can discuss an appropriate next step.

Books and Educational Materials

Books linked from this website are purchased through the retailer shown at checkout. That retailer’s ordering, delivery, returns and digital-access terms apply to its transaction. A manual is an educational resource; buying or reading it alone does not provide an attunement, assessment, certification or permission to present yourself as trained by Michael. Course access and any attunement arrangements are included only when expressly stated in the offer purchased.

Respecting Our Content

Our original text, images, recordings, designs and learning materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. All rights are reserved except for permissions expressly granted with a purchase or download and uses allowed by law. Please obtain permission before copying, distributing, adapting or selling our materials.

Privacy and Other Websites

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled through this website and our booking process. Links to independent websites, including retailers and social platforms, take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Changes and Questions

We may update website information, future offers and these terms. The price and terms presented when you complete a purchase apply to that purchase; a later website update does not automatically replace them. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you have a question, please use our contact form.
